MAN IN A CASE
ANNIE-B PARSON & PAUL LAZAR / MIKHAIL BARYSHNIKOV
Projection Designer
Drawn from two short stories by Anton Chekhov, Man in a Case presented an array of opportunities and challenges. A multiplicity of surfaces are deployed--a dozen CRT tvs, a trio of retractable, classroom-style screens, a mobile tablecloth--as well as a handful of live video feeds, all serving to stitch together the patchwork narrative of these deeply human tales of love and loss.
