I USED TO LOVE YOU
MARTHA GRAHAM DANCE CO. / ANNIE-B PARSON
Projection Design
I Used to Love You was created as conversation with Graham’s 1941 work, "Punch and The Judy"-- a satirical take on marriage replete with bullying and day-to-day marital antagonisms. Given carte-blanch to rework and reimagine the piece, original video footage seved as a jumping-off point, and is throughly remixed into a cacophonic milleu of imagery, sound, and dance.
